A WorldCraft 2 Chest is used to store different items and blocks so when you die you can keep things safe. A chest will hold up to 27 separate items and a total of 1728 pieces if there all stackable. Unlike Minecraft, when you place 2 chests side by side they will not combine into one larger unit but will stay as 2 separate ones. To craft one you’ll need a Workbench and 8 Wooden Planks.
Check out the WorldCraft 2 Guide Wiki for more info.
To use simple click on it to open the inventory and then tap the items and blocks you would like to place inside or remove. To move a large stack at once simply hold down on the item until the green bar fills up.
When a chest is destroyed all of it’s contents will fall out onto the ground and remain there for 3 minutes. If you don’t pick them up within 3 minutes they will disappear forever. This can happen by removing it without emptying its contents and digging the block out from underneath it.
You can not stack them on top of each other, but you can place as many as you would like side by side and around each other. The biggest complain seems to be the small amount of space you have to store items making you have to make many of them to put things away. This can truly be a pain in the butt later on when you have a ton of these things everywhere especially when you have loads of dirt and other common blocks to store.
Hopefully there will be an update in the future to help make things more manageable as well as some more content like equipment, tool, Mobs, and environmental items like trees, Water, and Lava. Check back in the near future for any new information in regards to updated material.
